Nail Academy is a program that hopes to identify career opportunities, employ safe and proper laboratory practices, combine science with grooming and salon services, develop the students professionally, build management skills, and perform manicures, pedicures, and nail extensions.
The students will learn by integrating textbook knowledge and hands on experience. Over the course of the year, the students will do manicures, pedicures, tips and overlays, sculpting using a form, nail wraps and mending, nail fill-ins, artificial nail removal, nail polishing, and nail art.
Starting October 28, at 11:15, Pensacola High School Nail Academy will be open on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. The following services will be offered:
