Things to know:

All books must be returned and fines paid to participate in the graduation ceremonies.
Make sure all standardized testing is completed, the FCAT, SAT, ACT, CPT.
Start making a list of possible careers and colleges that you would like to go to. Don't forget to get more information about the school by looking at their website. Here you can view scholarship opportunities, financial aid, and admission policies. The college board has a good college search here.
All senior athletes need to make sure they have been cleared by the NCAA Clearinghouse in order to play a college sport. See Mr. Walker in guidance for more information.
Remember: Graduation is a privilege, not a right.

To apply for a Bright Future's Scholarship submit a complete Florida Financial Aid Application (FFAA). You can apply online here, then select "Apply here." This application gives the Florida Department of Education permission to evaluate your high school transcripts for eligibility for a Bright Future's Scholarship and other state scholarships and grants as well. You must apply in your senior year before graduation, or you will forfeit all future eligibility for a Bright Future's Scholarship.

1. NO senior with more than 3 referrals this year will be allowed to attend senior trip 2009. (3 referrals or more will keep you in Pensacola)

2. NO senior with any discipline (behavior) referrals will be allowed to attend senior trip 2009. Examples: fighting, cussing out teacher (resulting in referral), open defiance. (If you will not listen to your teacher, then you will not listen to the chaperons.)

3. Only the referrals acquired your senior year will be examined in the decision making process.

4. It is mandatory that the $100 deposit is paid by Oct. 10^th in order to go on the trip.
