School Improvement Goals

Reading
  1. Students achieving proficiency (FCAT Level 3) in reading will increase by 1%.
  1. Students achieving above proficiency (FCAT Levels 4 & 5) in reading will increase by 1%.
  1. Percentage of students making learning gains in reading will increase by 1%.
  1. Percentage of students in lowest 25% making learning gains in reading will increase by 15%.
  1. Students subgroups not making Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) in reading will increase by:
  A. Black-2%

B. White-2%
  C. Students with Disabilities-1% D.Economically Disadvantaged-1%
Math
  1. Students achieving proficiency (FCAT Level 3) in math will increase by 1%.
  1. Students achieving above proficiency (FCAT Levels 4 & 5) in math will increase by 1%.
  1. Percentage of students making learning gains in math will increase by 1%.
  1. Percentage of students in lowest 25% making learning gains in math will increase by 1%.
  1. Student subgroups not making Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) in math will increase by:
  A. Black-1%
  B. Economically Disadvantaged-1%
Science

The EOC for Biology will be field tested during the 2011-2012 school year.

Writing
  1. Students achieving Adequate Yearly Progress (FCAT Level 3.0 and higher) in writing will increase by 1%.
  1. Student subgroups not making Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) in writing will increase by:
    Economically Disadvantage -1%
Attendence
  1. The average daily attendance rate will increase by 1%.
  1. The number of students with 10 or more absences will decrease by 1%.
  1. The number of students with 10 or more tardies will decrease by 1%.
Suspensions
  1. The total number of in-school suspensions will decrease by 1%.
  1. The total number of student's suspended in-school will decrease by 1%.
  1. The total number of out-of-school suspensions will decrease by 1%.
  1. The total number of student's suspended out-of-school will decrease by 1%.
Dropout Rate
  1. The drop-out rate will decrease .02%.
  1. The NCLB or NGA Graduation rate will increase by 2%.
Parent Involvement

Increase academically focused parent activities by one.
